For a couple of years Ida has been experimenting with music in different genres which has lead her to her deep techno knowledge in various kinds. A lot of focus goes to the sound design where she creates a techno minimalistic, dubby and dark vibe in her track. She works with field recorded samples and acoustic instruments creating an almost organic feeling in the tracks. 2011 saw the release of "Knockout EP" together with techno producer Fabian Kempe and of 2012 her own "Files From India EP" is to be expected, aswell as "Broken Flower EP". 2012 is the year of Ida Matsdotter.
